The newest Liszt CD by pianist Kasparas Uinskas is released by Hänssler Classic on 20th of September 2024.
The CD has been nominated at prestigious “International Classical Music Awards 2025” for the best solo album of the year category.
It was already honoured with the Supersonic Award from Pizzicato:
“Wow! What a pianist! And what a Liszt interpreter! Lithuanian pianist Kasparas Uinskas is well on his way to a great career.”
The works recorded on this album, especially the expansive Piano Sonata, testify to the highest artistic skill. Uinskas knows how to shape the complex sonata with great verve on the one hand and many restrained moments of pause on the other, so that the music is explored to its extremes.
