World piano star Evgeni Bozhanov at Lithuanian concert halls

World famous piano star Evgeni Bozhanov will give a first solo recital after six years at Lithuanian National Philharmonic Hall on the 21stof November. Kaunas and Klaipėdaaudiences will have a unique possibility to hear his solo appearance for the first time on the 20thof November at Kaunas Philharmonic Hall and on the 23rdof November at Klaipėda Concert Hall. Bozhanov will present his new program with Beethoven “Moonlight sonata”, Ravel La valse and Schubert piano sonata No. 21.

Pure pianistic brilliance

Piano duo with Kasparas Uinskas and Evgeni Bozhanov appeared at Martha Argerich festival in Hamburg. Together they performed parts from Prokofiev Cinderella and their performance was led by endless applause. “Pure pianistic brilliance” – writes Hamburger Abendblatt after the concert. Martha Argerich appeared on the same night together with pianist Nicholas Angelich, as well as with string players from Hamburger Symphoniker in the second part.

Outstanding piano duo with two piano virtuosos Evgeni Bozhanov and Kasparas Uinskas will appear at Martha Argerich festival in Hamburg on the 26th of June 19:30. Pianists will share the stage on the same evening with Martha Argerich, Elena Bashkirova, Michael Barenboim, Nicholas Angelich and other great musicians.

They will perform a selection from Sergei Prokofiev’s Cinderella (arrangement by Michail Pletnev dedicated for Martha Argerich).

Legendary cellist Alexander Kniazev is coming back to Lithuania for his concert with pianist Kasparas Uinskas. The concert will take place on the 23rd of October at Kaunas Philharmonic. Program is dedicated to Johannes Brahms. Artists will perform two sonatas, originally written to clarinet and some of his songs. Duo is preparing this program for a recording and CD release. Kaunas public will be able to hear this program first.
