New Musical Generation is presenting the concert of two virtuosos violinist Svetlin Roussev and pianist Kasparas Uinskas on the 3rd of February at Kaunas Philharmonic and on 6^th of February at Lithuanian National Philharmonic Hall in Vilnius. Together they will perform masterpieces by Johannes Brahms and César Franck.

Since winning the first prize at the widely acclaimed first Sendai International Competition in May 2001, the charismatic violin virtuoso Svetlin Roussev enjoys a prestigious international career in many of the world’s major concert halls, including the Bolshoi Theatre and Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Seoul Arts Center, Salle Pleyel, UNESCO, Théâtre des Champs Elysées, Théâtre du Châtelet, Cité de la Musique, Théâtre de la Ville in Paris, Bulgaria National Concert Hall, Budapest’s Béla Bartók National Concert Hall, Frankfurt’s Alte Oper, Konzerhaus in Berlin, Centro Cultural Kirchner in Buenos Aires, Palais des Beaux Arts de Bruxelles and the Palais of the United Nations in Geneva. Roussev is a regular guest soloist with various orchestras such as the Orchestre National de France, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Orchestre National de Belgique, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra (Bucharest), Romanian National Radio Orchestra, Kremerata Baltica, Bulgarian National Radio among others. Roussev is a violin professor at the prestigious Haute École de Musique in Geneva after 10 years being a professor at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. He has been giving violin and chamber music masterclass around the world. He is also the artistic advisor and artist in residence of the March Music Days International Festival in his hometown Ruse after serving as artistic director and artist in residence of the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra. Svetlin Roussev performs on the Amati- Stradivarius 1720 violin kindly loaned by AMUNDI.

Kasparas Uinskas is an internationally acclaimed pianist, praised by critics for his virtuosity and romantic style. Mr. Uinskas is performing at most important world concert halls – New York’s Carnegie Hall, Berlin Philharmonie, London Wigmore Hall, Madrid Auditorio Nacional, J. F. Kennedy Center in Washington, DC among others. His recent performances include his return concert with legendary cellist Alexander Knyazev at Martha Argerich festival in Hamburg (in June 2021) after his first appearance at this festival with piano duo with pianist Evgeni Bozhanov, with Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia (Belgium), Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, North Czech Philharmonic Orchestra (Czech Republic), Philharmonie Südwestfalen (Germany), Liepaja Symphony Orchestra at Piano Stars Festival (Latvia), Krakow Philharmonic Orchestra (Poland), as well as solo recitals at London Wigmore Hall, Baerum Kulturhus at Piano Master Series (Norway), BoZar concert hall in Brussels, Brussels piano festival, Festival Nordland Musikkfestuke in Bodø (Norway), at Fantastic Pianist Series tour in Japan and chamber recital tour in Norway and Lithuania together with International Tchaikovsky Competition laureate, violinist Nikita Boriso-Glebsky, piano duo concert tour with pianist Evgeni Bozhanov and chamber concert tour with cello legend Alexander Kniazev and also with International Tchaikovsky competition winner (Moscow 2015) cellist Andrei Ionita.
